Gina Gansmann

Gina Gansmann, P.E. has been working with EWB since 2008 with the Gateway Professional Chapter in St. Louis, MO.  Gina has travelled to Honduras on multiple occasions serving as project lead and as a mentor for projects completed in conjunction with several student chapters.  She has served in multiple executive committee positions for the Gateway Professional Chapter, including President from 2010 to 2011. 
Gina currently is an Engineering Manager for Black & Veatch Corporation.  She has over 18 years experience with a background in water treatment, wastewater treatment and construction oversight.  She has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, a M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a M.B.A degree from Southern Illinois University @ Edwardsville

Dan Voss

 
 Dan is a member of the EWB-USA Iowa State University Chapter, where he has served as President, Vice President, and Programming Chair. He traveled to Trinidad, Belize in November 2012 as part of the solar fruit dryer project. Dan has served as the Midwest Steering Committee Vice President since January 2013.

In December 2013, Dan will receive his B.S. in materials engineering, with a certificate in Community Leadership and Public Service and minors in economics and political science. After graduating he intends to pursue a Master’s of Arts in teaching degree and teach high school science. His favorite place in the world (except home, Ames, and Belize) is the Badlands of South Dakota.

Elizabeth Clark
Ashley Templeton is a Chapter Relations Manager with Engineers Without Borders USA where she is active in supporting EWB-USA chapters through chapter resource development, member engagement, and supporting education and training initiatives.
Prior to joining EWB-USA, Ashley's experience focused in the areas of international community organization and development, cross-cultural communication and exchange, and democratization. Ashley holds a B.A. in International Relations from Drake University.

Bob Walker

 
Bob is a member of Engineers Without Borders’ (EWB - USA’s) Board of Directors and holds the office of Treasurer. Bob has been involved in environmental protection and stewardship for his entire 35-year, professional career.  A strong advocate for sustainable infrastructure, he is currently Vice President of Engineering Applications for Underground Solutions, Inc. based in Poway, California (outside of San Diego). Prior to joining Underground Solutions, Bob was Executive Director for the Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association. 
 
In addition to serving actively on numerous professional association committees and boards, he lectures on the need for better performance measures relative to infrastructure durability, emphasizing the need to select materials that are inherently well suited for their intended applications. 

 

Bob has also worked for the EPA in Ohio and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master's Degree in Public Administration; all from the Ohio State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio and Texas.

 Jennifer Meyer

 Jennifer Meyer has 13 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry.  She is currently a Senior Project Manager for Missouri American Water.  Her experience includes water and wastewater treatment plant improvement design, water distribution system planning and design, construction oversight, and permitting.  She earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia and then later earned a M.S. degree in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science & Technology.  She is a registered professional engineer in Missouri and Illinois. She currently volunteers as the Missouri State Representative for Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB), and previously served as President of the Gateway Professional Chapter of EWB in 2012, as well as past President in 2013.  Through involvement with the professional chapter since 2006, she has assisted several university chapters of EWB with design and project management.  She worked to secure project funding in the form of two grants from Rotary International and has traveled to Honduras three times with EWB to assess, design, and then oversee construction of multiple phases of a new water distribution system for the community of Pimienta.

 Danny McLaughlin



 Jennifer Davis is a member of EWB-NE and the current professional chapter vice president.  She traveled to El Salvador in 2007 with the EWB Colorado Chapter to assist in a hydrogeologic survey for possible well locations.  In June 2013 she traveled to Uganda to assist with the installation of a rain harvesting system.  Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado State University in Civil Engineering in 2005 and her Master’s in Environmental Engineering in 2008 with an emphasis in hydrology.  She has worked as a Hydrologic Engineer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Omaha, NE for five years as of June 2013.

Amanda Weber

 Amanda Weber has been a member for EWB since 2010. She is currently a member of both the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Chapter and the Red River Valley Professional Chapter. She served as president of the NDSU chapter from fall of 2011 to spring of 2013 during which time the chapter completed a water distribution project and a three room school in Las Tablitas, Guatemala. Amanda traveled with the group to help implement the water distribution project.

 Amanda is currently studding civil engineering and international studies with a minor in Spanish at NDSU and will be graduating this December. She is currently an intern at KLJ, Inc. in Moorhead MN. Amanda has experience living in both Guatemala and Spain and experience traveling to Mexico and Argentina.

 Tiffany Werckmann

Tiffany joined EWB in the fall of 2008 at Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla, MO. She was an active member for 4.5 years, serving as vice president and as program lead for the Los Eucaliptos, Bolivia team. Tiffany was lucky enough to travel to Bolivia 4 times, where she established relationships with the community and worked on various water projects. She graduated from Missouri S&T in December 2012 with degrees in Computer Science & Computer Engineering and a minor in Spanish.

Tiffany is currently a software engineer working at Boeing in St. Louis on the F-15 fighter. She recently joined the EWB Gateway Professionals chapter and is now the new Vice President of the Midwest Region starting in 2014.
